[Ho Chi Minh - CAT LAI] Dangerous Cargo Management Regulations Strengthened Guidelines
To Our Valued Customers Using Pan Ocean Please be informed that effective from July 1st, Dangerous Cargo(DG cargo) management regulations for arriving at Ho Chi Minh (CAT LAI) have been strengthened as follows: 1. Dangerous cargo(DG cargo) cannot be stored within the CAT LAI terminal. 2. DG cargo must be transferred to the FINAL DESTINATION within 24 hours of arrival. 3. 'POD' is 'HOCHIMINH', and 'PLD' must be designated to one of the following two ICDs (the terminal provides free transfer): o ICD TAN CANG NHON TRACH o TANC CANG HIEP PHUOC (The BL will also indicate and be issued for the designated ICD.) • Direct delivery from Ho Chi Minh and direct transfer by the consignee are not allowed. For ICDs other than the two locations mentioned above, the consignee must arrange direct transfer within 24 hours, failing which the following charges will apply: 20GP: VND 1,550,000 HQ: VND 3,230,000 (Rates are per day, excluding VAT) 4. Mixing dangerous and non-dangerous container in one B/L is prohibited (mixing within one container is allowed).
